Strategic Advisory

Danielle works with both large corporations and small enterprises (e.g., new ventures, start-ups, etc.) to develop concrete plans to drive growth either in current markets or new and adjacent markets.  Danielle also is also an experienced project manage who is employed to implement strategic imperatives (i.e., put plans into actions.)  Her strategic expertise spans a number of key areas

 

Growth Strategy

Understanding growth is not only a question of what to do, but also when and how to grow.  Danielle offers expertise advising companies (both large and small) on how to properly sequence growth strategy in order to optimize resource utilization and help businesses grow bigger, faster.  To this end, Danielle advises on the development and execution of key channel strategies (e.g., D2C, B2B, etc.) and assists with client identification, financial modeling, proposal drafting, and operational planning.  In addition, Danielle teaches workshops on growth and "growth hacking" at a number of start-up incubators in NYC.



Business Development 

Knowing what the "right" next move is can be challenging.  In dynamic industries, it's important to understand the big picture, incorporate alternative viewpoints, and supplement internal with external expertise.  Danielle provides advisory services related to market analysis & sizing, due diligence, target market identification, product development, and product-market fit.  Danielle is data-driven in her approach, having had experience building out the business intelligence function of multiple companies and leveraging key data and metrics to drive concrete business decisions.



Communications 

Making your message heard is critical.  Danielle has deep experience developing customer outreach programs and large-scale marketing & communications strategies.  She drives development of key messaging & calls-to-action, planning of overall communications and editorial calendars, and execution of marketing & communications strategies.  Danielle has additional background in asset design (graphics, visuals, formatting, etc.) and extensive experience crafting impactful messaging and copy.  She employs data-driven techniques to find the best ways to meet audiences where they are and ensure messaging is heard.


Supplementary expertise in sustainability + sustainable development & finance

Danielle is deeply passionate about sustainability and sustainable development.  She cultivated an expertise in sustainable development and finance having entered a Sustainable Cities program while at Harvard Business School and having worked in the Sustainability & Resource Productivity practice at McKinsey & Company.  (Please see the report for which she was a key contributor: Financing change: How to mobilize private sector financing for sustainable infrastructure, January 2016.)  She has done significant work alongside the Cities Climate Finance Leadership Alliance, a consortium that launched at the COP 21 forum for sustainable innovation in Paris.   

 

Professional Coaching

Danielle works with a number of organizations and individuals as a professional coach and mentor helping to develop and prepare talent for new professional endeavors or to help individuals manage professional transitions.  Most recently, Danielle has been contracted by large management consulting companies and  start-up, Dream Space to coach and mentor individuals preparing to make career transitions.

With so many career options, knowing the best skills to cultivate is often challenging.  Some skills, however, never go out of style.  Danielle is an experienced coach of strategic thinking and planning and conceptual and analytical problem-solving.  She trains others on how to leverage hypothesis-driven thinking to quickly test, iterate, and design a successful path forward.
